The real slides, not an AI rewrite

Video to PowerPoint
from your recording

Video2Any pulls out the slides the speaker actually showed, sets aside the camera shots, folds a slide built up line by line into one, and lets you check every page beside the video.

  • The slides they showed

Every page is a frame from the recording, not a summary or a redesign. Nothing is invented.

  • Tidied before you look

Camera shots, the audience and blank screens are set aside, and a slide built up line by line becomes one card.

  • Made for long recordings

An hour-long lecture comes out in a minute or two, and a folder of recordings goes through in one run.

  • Stays on your machine

Your browser reads the video. It is never uploaded, so a private recording stays private.

It tidies the deck before you do

Detection finds every slide change. Three more steps make the deck one you can use as it comes out.

  1. Camera shots are set aside

Frames of the speaker, the audience, a black screen — or the hall camera filming the projection when the slides themselves are in the recording — are folded away on their own, never deleted. One click puts them back.

Eight frames from real talks: the four slides are kept and the four camera or blank frames are set aside.
  2. A slide built up line by line becomes one

A slide revealed point by point gets caught several times. The card keeps the most complete frame; press the number on it to see each step.

One slide and the four frames it was caught in while its checklist filled in.
  3. Review it beside the video

Go through the deck one slide at a time while the recording jumps to the same moment. Arrow keys to move, X to delete, Z to undo.

Review mode: the slide on the left, the recording at the same moment on the right, the deck as a strip below.

A whole course, not one clip

Most recordings people bring here are lectures longer than fifteen minutes. Video2Any is built around them.

A batch run: four lectures from one course, each converted into its own deck.
  • A folder in one run

Drop a semester of recordings. Each one becomes its own deck, in course order, and they export together.

  • Videos that only play in a browser

When a recording you have access to plays in Panopto, Canvas or a Zoom cloud link and there is no file to open, the Chrome extension reads the slides from the player.

  • Still there after you close the tab

Close the tab halfway through reviewing and come back: the finished decks from the run are kept in this browser, ready to review and export. They never leave your machine.

Every format from one run

Choose the format once the slides are ready. Switching costs nothing; the slides are already there.

  • PowerPoint
  • PDF
  • Word
  • Markdown
  • Images (.zip)
  • One HTML file
  • All slides as one image
  • Audio only

How it works

  1. Choose a video file or record your screen.
  2. Review detected slides on the timeline: recapture, crop, or delete any frame.
  3. Export the deck, PDF, or image frames.
Three steps: drop a video in, slides are detected along the timeline, export a deck.

FAQ

What if my video is longer than 30 minutes?
The first 30 minutes of every video are free. A free account adds one full-length video; after that, $2.99 unlocks 2 more full-length videos, $29 gives you a year with no length limit (one payment, no renewal, and it counts toward Lifetime later), or a one-time $49 removes the limit for good.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. No account is needed for the first 30 minutes per video. Free PPTX and PDF exports include a final credit page.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in a recent Chrome or Safari, for most MP4 recordings. Very long or high-resolution videos are faster and more reliable on a computer in Chrome or Edge.
Can I edit the text in the slides?
No. Video2Any gives you the slides exactly as they appeared on screen, saved as pictures, so the text inside them can't be edited. You can crop, delete and reorder pages, and add your own notes in PowerPoint.
Do my videos upload?
No. Open the converter and process the file in your browser. The original video is not uploaded.
How fast is it?
On a recent laptop an hour-long lecture usually takes a minute or two; long, high-resolution meeting recordings take longer. Slides appear while it works, so you can start reviewing right away.
What do I get after conversion?
You can export a PowerPoint deck, a PDF handout, slide images, Word or Markdown notes, or just the audio.
What kinds of videos work best?
Use recordings with clear, mostly static slides. Small text, camera movement and animations can reduce detection quality.
