Zoom hands you an .mp4, not the slides that were shared on screen. Video2Any watches that recording, detects each slide the moment it changed, and rebuilds the deck as editable PowerPoint. Works with local and cloud Zoom recordings alike, entirely inside your browser — the file is never uploaded.
Local vs cloud Zoom recordings
A local recording saves to your computer as an .mp4 (alongside an audio-only .m4a) — drop that .mp4 straight in. A cloud recording lives on Zoom’s site instead, so download the MP4 from there first, then convert. Either way the slides are already inside the video; nothing extra was ever exported.
Where the slides are in the frame
Zoom recordings vary by layout. A full shared screen fills most of the frame and converts cleanly. If the recording is speaker- or gallery-heavy with the shared slides in a smaller window, crop to that region first so the detector locks onto the slides instead of the faces.
