Echo360 can hand you the presentation file the instructor uploaded, when downloads are turned on for the course. When they are not, the Video2Any extension reads the slides from the player as they are shown.
1. Use the Presentation icon
Open the class from the Echo360 link in your course. When the instructor uploaded a presentation and allowed downloads, a Presentation icon next to the class lets you save the slides.
What you get is the file as it was uploaded. Changes made afterwards are not in it, and interactive question slides are left out; those can only be viewed online inside Echo360.
2. Ask the instructor to turn downloads on
Downloads are a course setting that the instructor controls. They can keep them off, release them later or remove them at any time, so a missing icon usually means the setting is off rather than that something is broken.
3. Extract the slides from the playback
When no file is offered and you are allowed to keep notes from the class, the Video2Any extension can read the slides from the player. Open the class on its own Echo360 page rather than inside your learning platform, show the presentation as the large stream and start the extension. The tab has to stay open until the run finishes, but it does not have to stay in front.
If you already have a copy of the video file, drop it in the box above instead. Either way, you review the slides in the editor and save them as PowerPoint or PDF.

- Can the extension read a class embedded in an LMS?
- It may not see video inside an embedded player. Open the standalone recording where possible, or use a copy of the video file you are authorized to use. Protected playback can still prevent capture.
- Why is there no Presentation icon?
- Either no presentation was uploaded for that class, or the instructor has not allowed downloads. Only the instructor can change that.
- Will extracted slides include ones the lecturer added during class?
- Yes, if they were shown on screen. The extension keeps what appeared in the presentation stream, which is the one thing the uploaded file can miss.
- What is free?
- The first 30 minutes per video are free without an account. A free account includes one full-length recording. Then $2.99 unlocks 2 recordings, or a one-time $49 payment removes the analysis length limit.
- What can I edit?
- The slides are images from the recording. You can reorder, crop and annotate them; the original text and charts are not rebuilt as editable objects. Free PPTX/PDF exports add a final Video2Any credit page. The lifetime plan removes it.
