Marcela State spoke in the Testing and Automation devroom at FOSDEM 2021 on folding quality assurance into the delivery pipeline rather than bolting it on at the end. Video2Any stepped through the 30-minute recording and kept 20 clean frames, one per slide change. At 0.7 slides a minute this is the slowest deck in the gallery, and it is worth having next to the 141-slide hour further down: the two together are the clearest demonstration that a slide count comes from how often the speaker advanced, and cannot be guessed from how long they spoke. Every image below is real output, extracted in a browser tab with nothing uploaded.

FAQ

Are these the actual slides from the talk?
Yes. Video2Any read the published recording and kept one image per slide change. FOSDEM publishes its 2021 recordings under CC BY 2.0 BE, which permits reuse with credit; we credit FOSDEM and link to the original file above.
Thirty minutes and only 20 slides — did it miss some?
No. This speaker stays on a slide for a minute or more at a time. The extraction kept the timestamp of each one and the original recording is linked above, so any of them can be checked against the source.
Can I do this with a talk I have?
Yes, and it is free for your own files. Drop the recording in and Video2Any detects each slide, keeps one clean frame per change, and exports an .pptx or PDF — in your browser, with nothing uploaded.
