Video2Any now publishes an Open Knowledge Format bundle
When an assistant needs to know what Video2Any costs, where slide extraction runs, and what happens to the video, it has to assemble the answer from pages written for people. The facts are there. So are the navigation, the layout, and the markup around them.
We published those facts as a directory of Markdown files at video2any.com/okf/index.md, in Open Knowledge Format v0.2. The format is YAML frontmatter on plain Markdown, with ordinary links between concepts. A build step generates the bundle from the same sources that render the site, so a price change or a new FAQ answer reaches both on the next deploy.
What is in the bundle
The bundle is one index, one change log, and a file per concept. It is small enough to read in a terminal:
okf/
index.md
log.md
product.md
pricing.md
features/
slides.md
notes.md
transcript.md
export.md
extension.md
faq/
q1.md ... q10.md
guides/
lecture-to-slides.md
mp4-to-ppt.md
video-to-pdf.md
video-to-notes.mdproduct.mdsays what the product does, where it runs, and what it does not do.pricing.mdcarries the free tier, the monthly, yearly, and Lifetime plans, credit packs, and the tax note.features/gives slides, spoken notes, transcript, exports, and the browser extension one concept each.faq/holds the ten questions from the localized home FAQ.guides/covers a lecture recording, an MP4, a PDF, and spoken notes in four short how-tos.
The index
The index opens with the format version, then groups concepts under Product, Pricing, Features, Questions, and Guides. This is the top of the raw file:

# Video2Any knowledge bundle
## Product
- [Video2Any](/okf/product.md) - Recovers the pages that were on screen in a recording and prepares them for study, work, or sharing in the browser.
## Pricing
- [Pricing](/okf/pricing.md) - Free for the first 30 minutes of every recording. Monthly, year pass, and Lifetime plans, plus credit packs for notes and transcripts.- Every link starts at the site root, so the bundle still works when it is copied into another directory.
- Each line ends with a one-line description written from the same content as the page.
- The same index exists under the site’s language prefixes: 中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Português, Français, and Deutsch. The root llms.txt points to the entry as well.
Reading it
Fetch the index with curl, or open it in a browser:
curl -sL https://video2any.com/okf/index.md | head- A concept carries a required
type, plustitle, description, resource, tags, and ageneratedblock that namesprocess:video2any. The specification only requires parseable frontmatter and a non-empty type. The other fields are there because they are useful. resourceis the URL of the page a person should read. If the concept and the page disagree, the page wins. The bundle is a copy; the page is the source.- Google Cloud’s launch post says Knowledge Catalog can ingest OKF bundles. Beyond that, we do not know which readers will pick this up.
Questions
- Where does the bundle start?
- At /okf/index.md. The root llms.txt points there too, and each language has its own index, such as /zh/okf/index.md.
- Does this change how Video2Any works?
- No. Slide extraction still runs in the browser, and the video file is not uploaded for extraction. Starting spoken notes or a transcript still sends the audio and, when there are pages, the page images.
- Is there an API?
- No. This release publishes static Markdown files. There is no new endpoint or key.
- Which languages are in the bundle?
- English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German, matching the site’s URL prefixes.
